This 2-ingredient Vegan Praline Hot Chocolate is the perfect healthy yet deliciously comforting way to warm up on a chilly winter’s afternoon!
I’ve recently discovered that you can find Alpro hazelnut milk in most supermarkets in the UK.
It was literally love at first sip: the taste instantly reminded me of praline: think Nutella and Ferrero Rocher. YUM. It’s so amazing that it’s overtaken almond milk as my favourite non-dairy milk.
Also hazelnuts conveniently happen to be incredibly good for you, being high in fibre, folate, B vitamins, copper and mangoes and packed full of protein and healthy oils.
Even if you’re not vegan or lactose-intolerant, you need this hazelnut milk in your life.
I love drinking it by itself, but I’ve also been experimenting with various ways to mix it with chocolate to create decadent praline-y drinks.
I thought it would work especially well with dark chocolate to make a thick and indulgent praline hot chocolate. It’s really quick and easy to make and also happens to be vegan.
You could also add a teaspoon of your favourite instant coffee or mix half freshly filtered coffee with half hot chocolate to make a decadent praline mocha!
If you try out this recipe or anything else from my blog, I’d love for you to take a photo and tag it #rhiansrecipes on Instagram! It would really make my day to see what you come up with!
