Here's a selection of the most popular vegan cookie recipes on my blog - I've got you covered with everything from chocolate cookies, oatmeal cookies, fruit cookies, chocolate chip cookies and nutty cookies as well as festive ones.
All the vegan cookie recipes here are also gluten-free and refined sugar free, and some are grain-free and paleo too.
Most of these recipes are flexible and can easily be adapted based on your dietary requirements/budget/convenience/taste preferences! All the individual recipes include substitution notes, but in general:
- Ground almonds (almond meal) can be replaced with ground walnuts or ground sunflower seeds.
- Gluten-free flour can be replaced with rice flour.
- If you're not gluten-free, the gluten-free flour can be replaced with plain flour.
- Liquid sweeteners can be used interchangeably: maple syrup, agave syrup, brown rice syrup etc.
- Nut butters can be used interchangeably: peanut butter, almond butter, cashew butter, sunflower seed butter etc.
Not only are these cookies great for dessert, but as they all keep well for a few days, they also make great edible gifts or work for meal prep, snacks, or even breakfast!

17. Almond Butter Cookies
These Almond Butter Cookies are soft and fudgy and require just 3 ingredients to make! Grain-free, oil-free and paleo.
18. Thumbprint Cookies

NB. The brown rice flour in these cookies cannot be substituted for white rice flour.
