Substitutions you can make to the gluten-free vegan pancake recipes
These recipes are all flexible and the ingredients can easily be substituted for others. All the individual recipes include substitution notes, but in general:
- ground almonds (almond meal) can be substituted with ground walnuts or ground sunflower seeds
- if you’re not gluten-free, gluten-free flour can be substituted with plain flour
- liquid sweeteners can be used interchangeably: maple syrup, agave syrup, brown rice syrup etc
- plant-based milks can be used interchangeably: almond milk, oat milk, soy milk, rice milk, cashew milk etc.
